BENTLEY R-TYPE CONTINENTAL FASTBACK BY HJ MULLINER

This beautiful car was retailed sold new by Edwards & Co Ltd of Bournemouth and first owned by a Mr. G E Lambert. The car was originally finished in black with red leather interior and included some special features including veneered dark walnut woodwork, sliding front seats with tipping/adjustable backs, and ashtrays front and rear. The original UK registration was ‘NRU 10’. Subsequent owners included Baron Nugent and the actor Peter Wyngarde.

We assisted a customer in purchasing the car at auction in Paris. The car was then sent to our workshops where it has been fully serviced and we arranged for the original UK registration number NRU 10 to be returned to the car. The new owner intends to enjoy the car over the summer months and then return it to us for a full bare metal re-paint to concours standards.
